
Rachel is a Chinese-British actress and writer based in New York City. She was raised between Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Chinatowns. She can be seen on Black Cake (Hulu), or as Detective Victoria Cho on Season 2 of NBC’s Law & Order: Organized Crime. Other TV credits include: Bull (CBS) and F/X’s Pose. Her podcast, Upstage Left, featuring interviews with theater artists she admires, is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever podcasts are found. Her short film, Great Listener, screened at Brooklyn Film Festival, Phoenix Film Festival, the Asian American International Film Festival, New York Shorts, and more. She is a lifetime member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, and has received residencies from the Asian American Arts Alliance, The Hearth, and Town Stages to develop her writing. She was a member of the All For One Theater 2022 Solo Collective, and received a 2023 Brooklyn Arts Council grant for her solo show: Dear John. Currently, she teaches on-camera and stage acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television.
