Rachel Lin

Rachel is a Chinese-British actress based in New York City. She was raised between Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Chinatowns. She can be seen on Black Cake (Hulu), or as Detective Victoria Cho on Season 2 of NBC’s Law & Order: Organized Crime. Other TV credits include: Bull (CBS) and F/X’s Pose. Her podcast, Upstage Left, featuring interviews with theater artists she admires, is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever podcasts are found. She is a lifetime member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, and has received residencies from the Asian American Arts Alliance, The Hearth, and Town Stages to develop her writing. She was a member of the All For One Theater 2022 Solo Collective, and received a 2023 Brooklyn Arts Council grant for her solo show: Dear John. Currently, she teaches on-camera and stage acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television.

BFA from NYU’s Tisch, and proud alumna of Stuyvesant High School. Member of SAG & AEA.

She is a fan of crossword puzzles, dive bars, and 24 hour diners.
